Adriano has taken the word host, to a new level! His Air bnb exceeded every expectation we had. His rental is exactly as stated in the Writeup and the pictures are spot on. His place is situated a few blocks to the old town center and is close to the train station. An added bonus is a Mercado, grocery store, directly across the street. The apartment is in a very safe neighborhood and there is also an ATM and postal office next to the Mercado. There is a fully equipped kitchen, the apartment has been completely upgraded and the floors are marble. Bathroom has a washing machine / drying rack can be placed on the balcony and kitchen a dishwasher. The bed was very comfortable. There are two added bonuses, the first is his Dad, who brought us breakfast, huge croissants filled with marmalade every morning and made us coffee. The second is Adriano’s wife, who is a licensed tour guide. We made advance reservations with her for a private tour of the coliseum, Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum. She can and does all of Rome, we opted for a shorter tour! She arranged the train and subway, it was a great time! Civitavecchia is a cruise ship port. The taxi ride was 10 minutes and total $20 USD from the BnB to the ship My husband and I totally recommend Adriano’s Michelangelo bed and breakfast for 1 night or a week! We were there 3 nights, 4 days!
