Bomarzo is located in the province of Viterbo, one hour by car from Michelangelo Apartment in Civitavecchia. The area is famous for its forest, known as the Park of Monsters: a surreal world populated by stone giants and mythological animals, built 500 years ago commissioned by the Prince Pier Francesco Orsini.

Entering the sacred wood of Bomarzo, you will follow a path of large statues, surreal buildings, inscriptions and riddles; probably the intention of the prince was to create a path of initiation aiming to stimulate the human mind.
